Arran 10 Year Old is the entry point into the range from Isle of Arran Distillers, based at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran in Scotland's Firth of Clyde. Founded in 1995, Arran is a relatively young distillery by Scotch whisky standards, but its whiskies have built a strong reputation for balance, fruitiness, and approachability. This 10 Year Old expression is a fitting showcase of that house style: a balanced, fruit-forward single malt with hints of vanilla, citrus, and spice that make it easy to enjoy without sacrificing genuine complexity. On the nose, expect ripe orchard fruit — apple and pear — alongside vanilla sweetness and a light citrus lift. The palate carries that fruitiness through, with a gentle spiciness (think white pepper and a touch of ginger) adding depth, while vanilla and a soft oaky warmth round things out.
